Organ Scholarship
Tenable for one academic year, with the possibility of an extension for up to one further year. To include:
- Organ and choral conducting lessons with Neil Taylor (Master of the Music, Sheffield Cathedral);
- £100 remuneration;
- Free access to one of Sheffield's finest pipe organs;
- Participation in a high standard of church music-making;
- Support from a friendly team of experienced church musicians.
The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic and reliable;
- Sensitive to the theology at St Mark's;
- Of the standard of (roughly) ABRSM grade 6 (either piano or pipe organ) or higher;
- Expected to play in at least one Sunday 10am Parish Communion per month, and to participate in the major festivals of the church year.
