Baptism, Marriages & Funerals
At times of great joy and great sadness God is especially with us through the love and compassion we experience and share with others. The celebration of new life and the bringing of a child to baptism, the decision of an adult to seek baptism and the love of two people sealed in marriage are times of great happiness and joy. The Church through its sacraments of baptism and marriage expresses this joy in its worship.
So too at times of loss, the church seeks to bring the comfort of God's love seen in Jesus to those in the valley of the shadow.
