The churches in Broomhill and Broomhall endeavour together to enhance the lives of older people living in our communities.

Lunch clubs

There are two lunch clubs for older people:-
St. Marks Church on Wednesdays at 12 noon, followed by the Friendship Club, with a programme of entertainment until 2.30 pm. Contact Mrs Rosalind Rogerson on 0114 268 1426.

Sunnybank Community Rooms, Broomhall on Wednesday from 12 noon. Contact Polly Perkins on 0114 2739967

Coffee Mornings

Broomhill Methodist Church on Thursdays from 10 am to 12 noon.

Other information

Friendship and Practical Support is given to those living in residential homes and sheltered housing in the parish. The churches employ a Community and Development Worker with Older People. For more information about this work, or if you would like to volunteer to help in any way, contact:
