Children & young people
Children
Children are an important part of our church community. We hope they enjoy coming into the church building and that they feel at home here. We want to walk with them as disciples of Jesus Christ and we try to provide experiences which will allow the children and adults to grow together in faith.
Through baptism, all people, including children are received into the eucharistic fellowship of the church. Therefore part of the baptism preparation is to explain the meaning of the Holy Communion.
Young people
Young people are a vital part of any community. At St. Mark's we aim to serve the needs of young people who are part of the congregation or the wider community. The groups and activities described here are the ways in which we hope to share Christ's love and meet the needs and expectations of young people.
