Faith, like the oxygen we breathe, is essential to life. It’s not about being pious or religious, but about being human. Most of us clothe faith with beliefs we inherit or choose. They may be about God, they may be about the world and the universe, they may be about ourselves or other people.
Sometimes, when the ‘fit’ seems awkward or constraining, it can seem as if we are losing our faith when in fact we are growing out of one set of beliefs and are searching for another set more able to accommodate reality as it presents itself to us.
If this is your experience, please don’t suffer in silence, become cynical or give up altogether. Instead, come along to worship on Sunday or to one of our courses and discover another way of being Christian that enriches your human being.
