Pastoral care is our expression of the love of God for all people throughout their lives and our desire to follow Jesus’s command to love our neighbours as ourselves. We seek to be aware of people’s needs and to enable the congregation to respond appropriately.
As appropriate we hold a joint meeting of the pastoral visitors and those who take Holy Communion to people who are not able to get to church. This enables us to share concerns and experiences and to ensure that we are caring for the congregation and parishioners in general and especially those who are more vulnerable. We also have links with the residential homes in our parish. If you are interested in getting involved in this aspect of our work, please contact the Vicar.
