Mission Statement
The Social Responsibility Group focuses on the implications of the Christian faith for the ordering of our society and sees its principal task as that of promoting the congregation's understanding of political, economic, social, environmental and ethical issues in the light of that faith.
At a practical level the Group seeks to promote and support initiatives within the parish and beyond which reflect the congregation's concern for the poor and marginalized in our society.
The group has organised meetings concerned with employment and unemployment, issues around human sexuality, homelessness, racial justice and other matters.
